  Above all the service was probably the best we have ever experienced. Sharon's thoughtfulness and attention to the small details were apparent everywhere. Even to the supplying of a wash line outside the bathroom window so that you could wash and dry clothes quickly. We used that a lot as we had been travelling in Italy for a week before we arrive... what people say » d in Tropea at a night here and couple there so had a lot of clothes that rquired washing. They supply flip flps and beach towels for the beach which - Sadly we stayed only one night had we known how lovely the room and the hosts were we most definitely would have stayed longer. This is a gem not to be missed. Best breakfast so far, lovely room and our hosts could not have done any more for us if they tried. Super city location we went to a super restaurant called La Lamia - not to be missed. Should we return here this is where we will stay for the duration of our break. Best wishes to the young owners they have got it right.

  One of my favorite hotels ever! The attention to detail is amazing from the rooms to the gardens to the perfect breakfast every morning on the terrace. The staff is warm and friendly and the location and view are incredible. - Very quiet ( almost monastic).It even has a cloister. Pleasant gardens and terraces.   The room was comfortable and clean. The location is excellent, right in the old part of town. There are plenty of places to eat nearby. We arrived later than expected (had a delayed flight and it was nearly midnight by the time we arrived) and Isabella was really nice about it. Breakfast is your standard croissants, meats, boiled eggs, tea and cof... what people say » fee, etc... The minibar is pretty well stocked and not over priced plus there is a kettle and tea in the room. I was really happy with the overall qua - The owners were very friendly. When they found out that we were travelling by train, they offered to pick us up at the station and drove us to the B&B. They also paid for the umbrella and two sun beds at a nearby Lido - which was a pleasant surprise, and very handy too. The B&B is very central in the small town of Tropea - perfect for a short break like ours.

  We really enjoyed our stay at the Residenza Casale San Fransesco. The apartment was very cozy and welcoming. The fact that we could sit outside as well as inside was a big plus. It's a beautiful building with a fantastic view, it has basic kitchen facilities (enough to be able to make breakfast, coffee, etc) and it's not too far from Tropea (a 10 ... what people say » minute walk). We got offered champagne and some antipasti upon arrival and I got a chance to see the family room and suite. They were absolutely gorge - A newly and beautifully fitted out apartment with a separate bedroom for the children. Just a 10 minute walk into the centre of Tropea so a perfect location for both the town and to explore the area which is stunning. The apartments are part of a small castle with thick stone walls which help keep them cooler but still bright and airy. Highly recommended.
