The views of Florence from the apartm... what people say » ent are stunning and the apartments themselves are more than well equipped with everything you need for your stay, and even if it wasn't, Viviana woul - We stayed for 7 nights and loved every moment of our stay. Hosts Viviana and Paulo made us welcome from the moment we walked through the gate. Their place is welcoming and relaxed and nothing is too much trouble. Viviana even showed us how to catch the bus and where to visit in Florence. Her daily treats and well stocked complimentary fridge were well received. We ate at the local restaurant six nights - another of Viviana's suggestions - fantastic. The quality of this place was great.

  I am totally satisfied with this booking (the hardware, the service, location, the pricing). I should say this is the best hotel I've ever lived during the past 20 days vacation in Italy and Greece. Unlike the rooms of most hotels in European tourist cities, the room offered by this hotel is quite spacious. It is super quite with the room too, tho... what people say » ugh the hotel is located in the heart of Florence, just 20-30 steps of Signoria Piazza. I am a person very sensitive to noise at night, it's not easy - The strongest points of this hotel are the owners/staff and the location, and there are quite a few other nice things about it. Luciana and Luciano, the brother and sister who own/run(?) the place, are lovely, lovely people, kind and most helpful. They're also very quick to respond to emails. The location is great, if a bit hard to find (if you're relying on GoogleMaps, that is -- get a REAL map!). It's a few meters away from Piazza di Signoria (which is right next to the Galleria Uffizi) and

  We loved everything! We had 3 rooms during our 2 day stay. Hotel staff was unbelievably helpful. They made our museum reservations, gave us detailed info about Florence, and even tried to get our rental car delivered to the hotel instead of the airport. The rooms were so perfectly Tuscan that I felt like I was on a movie set. Breakfast was fabulous... what people say » . Very highly recommend. You won't be disappointed - Marco is fabulous! He spends time with his guests when they arrive, giving them an orientation to the city and its history. He can recommend everything from the best gellato to resturants, siteseeing, shopping. He gives you his cell phone number so you can contact him with questions while you are out. Snacks water, etc. are available in the dining room all day, as well as cocktail beverages.
