  This is a lovely place with lots of space for walking around. Our apartment had everything we needed and we were happy to be able to cook our own dinners. The breakfast was very good. We had a very easy time visiting Erice from this location. - Beautiful garden! Not only people with children would enjoy it. The hotel is very close to the road... what people say » but you won't notice it - it is very silent place and near Trapani - just five minutes by car.

  Really quiet, lovely spacious room with a balcony overlooking the courtyard. Good breakfast with sweet and savoury options. Able to park right outside. (Like most places in Sicily there is a confusing one way system but stick with it. Drive up through he main car park, follow the signs through the top end of the town and Il Carmine can be found al... what people say » most as you leave the town by the ports del Carmine) - Il Carmine is very conveniently located in a quiet piazza about 200m from the centre of the the old hilltop town of Erice. The town itself is very busy with tourists so this was a big help. The charcter of the hotel derived a lot from its past as a monastery. The rooms were very clean if a bit austere but that's exactly what I expected. The staff were reserved but charming.

Hoping to go back again! - This hotel is beautiful, well appointed, quiet, comfortable with a helpful staff. Our room was large and well-equipped. Walk out the door and in 3 minutes you are in the heart of Erice, enjoying the shops and the restaurants and history. Miles and miles of high view in the same block. Terrific breakfast and overall a great value. We would go back.

  The drive with Massimo from the car park to our accomodation was exciting. We were a bit unlucky in that the village was enveloped in cloud, but that made the drive more exciting. Think very narrow cobble-stoned streets,slippy with the moisture,driving at speed and missing corners,parked cars etc. by millimetres. The apartment is tastefully designed with excellent facilities and comforts. Massimo met us as we arrived at the hilltop location and helped us to park our car in a free car park and then took us and our luggage in his car to the apartments. He recommended very good restaurants and was generally extremely helpful. Our two day stay was perfect.

  The room was clean, tidy and comfortable. The owner did not speak any English but somehow we still managed to communicate. The property has on site parking and is close to the old city of Erice which is well worth a visit. The best way to get up to this hilltop village is by the cable car. Lovely views and lots of narrow streets and old buildings ... what people say » to admire and photograph. - We got a very warm welcome from the friendly staff. The owners speak very little English, but we felt home right away. The room is just bsic, but it's very clean and we were happy witrh the facility. We got a fresh homemade breakfast as well. Nice location as well, nearby Erice. On the terrace of the B&B, you have a wonderful view (breakfast is there)
