  The drive with Massimo from the car park to our accomodation was exciting. We were a bit unlucky in that the village was enveloped in cloud, but that made the drive more exciting. Think very narrow cobble-stoned streets,slippy with the moisture,driving at speed and missing corners,parked cars etc. by millimetres. Also, returning to the apartment f... what people say » rom a restaurant at midnight was strange and eerie,think medieval village with others looming up out of the fog/ cloud and only able to see a few feet - The village of Erice is absolutely beautiful high up with the most amazing views and interesting buildings. The apartment is tastefully designed with excellent facilities and comforts. Massimo met us as we arrived at the hilltop location and helped us to park our car in a free car park and then took us and our luggage in his car to the apartments. He recommended very good restaurants and was generally extremely helpful. Our two day stay was perfect.

  Marvellous little city. Great food. The dependance we had was very comfortable and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I would warmly recommend it. - Very clean, pleasant owner!! You get medieval keys! Great establishment.

  The wonderful location in the heart of this atmospheric mediaeval city. Our room had a 'Romeo and Juliet' balcony, overlooking the intricately cobbled street, 2 minutes from the main piazza. Hoping to go back again! - This hotel is beautiful, well appointed, quiet, comfortable with a helpful staff. Our room was large and well-equipped. Walk out the door and in 3 minutes you are in the heart of Erice, enjoying the shops and the restaurants and history. Miles and miles of high view in the same block. Terrific breakfast and overall a great value. We would go back.

The town itself is very busy with tourists so this was a big help. The charcter of the hotel derived a lot from its past as a monastery. The rooms were very clean if a bit austere but that's exactly what I expected. The staff were reserved but charming.

  I had my own room and my own washroom as requested. There was mainly 1 lady that was running this place. But she was reallly sweet! And a really helpful. She speaks only Italian, however she was very co- operative. Whenever I gave a slow response in English or German, or even my bad Italian, she always responded back. I even shook her hand before ... what people say » I left the place. This place is located right below Erice, on the side of a hill. So if you're doing lots of travelling on the outskirts, it would be - The staff was super-friendly. The manager/owner came to pick us up late in the evening, gave us some great tips for restaurants, and answer to any question we had. Super nice. The location is superb as well as the building itself, a beautiful ex-convent - very picturesque. We couldn't ask for more!

  The room was quite small and basic but had all comforts and was immaculate clean (I am Italian and quite fussy with this). Our window was right in front of a bell tower that made it so gorgeous. Erice is fairly small and our room was perfectly located. The lady who showed us to the room was absolutely lovely...she also happened to be the registrar... what people say » on the town as we found out when we bumped into her in the piazza just minutes before she was about to marry someone. Erice is a gem! A welcoming tow - Right in Town ... Great location. Owner VERY helpful and courteous. Intimate in that only 4 rooms.
