  The staff were extremely helpful and sympathetic. We had a small problem with a key, and they were eager to sort it out very quickly. The rooms are airy and comfortable (we stayed in 2 different ones on separate nights), and we were given a quiet one at the back when we asked for one. All in all, a very good place to stay, especially as it is w - Very central, 2 mins away from piazza Duomo and Via Etnea and 5 mins away from the market. Less than 10 mins from the port. It has a private parking shared with the rest of the gated community which seemed to be safe. The guesthouse has a lift as well and it was very good considering the cheap price we payed. Wifi was also available, italian breakfast in room and with a balcony for the street view. Very worth it if you're not looking for luxury but the basics you need

  Location !!!! At the arrival not so sure about this place. Once we met the owner (Manuela) it became "the peaceful oasis". Food/advice/information = ONLY the best from Manuela!   excellent location, near 2 main squares. at the Duomo square you can find 2 types of touristic buses - the standard citysightseeing and the other one cheaper 5 euro (1hour trip without stop). you also can find all main streets having begin at the square Duomo. the landlord is a very friendly woman, she helped me to book an excursion to Etna (must ... what people say » see! half day was enough for mee; "without jeep" is not very tiring). the breakfast is served in a cafe neighbour to the appartment (croissant\briosh - This BB has a central location [2 min from Piazza Duomo], really close to public transportation [Piazza Alcala] and via Etnea [wich is one of the main streets in Catania]. The BB is clean and comfy. The owners, Giovanni and his mother [who lives next door] are nice people. The palazzo in which the BB is located it's a bit noisy, but this is Sicilly. Overall, I was pleased with the place and I recomend it.

  Very nice staff, absolutely helpful, kind and friendly. The hotel is well-located, very close to the city center (app. 10 minutes walk from Piazza D'uomo), and very close to the fancy bar, Spinella :) On the other hand the rooms are not noisy at all. The prices are very good compared to the location and the service. And the breakfast was just love... what people say » ly! The fresh bread with blood-orange juice and the desserts... Awesome! I can just reccomend Domus Hotel Catania to anyone! - Large, clean rooms, well equipped . The balconies facing Via Etnea are small, but yes, you do see Etna. Very nice staff, both at reception and breakfast. The central location on Via Etnea is convenient; of course it comes with street noise - but the solid window shutters together with the air condition solved our sleeping problems. In short, excellent value for money.

  The location ... it is right on the beach ... so if you like to wake up to the sound of the sea then this place is perfect. The staff are friendly and helpful. - Perfect location, very cost efficient. Quaint rooms but they have all the necessary amenities. My family and I will frequent this place.
