Comfortable and clean. It does what it says - if you want an en-suite,
don't book as it clearly says "shared bathroom". Worked
fine for us. Location allows you to walk or take the Vaporetti to any of
the sights you will want to see. Breakfast is limited but fine -

B&B Santa Sofia was so close to the Rialto Mercato vaporetto stop, so you could always find it again! I had a large room that had a queen and 2 single beds, but I only paid for a single room. It was clean

+location - near the bridge Realto in San Marco district. Very nice location for seeing Venice. 2 minutes from Grand Canal if you arrive on vapporetto, there is an excess to the canal near the hotel entrance (30 metres) if you arrive by water taxi.
Very good place to stay in Venice in terms of value for money.

The beds and pillows were comfortable. The shower worked well and room size was very good. The breakfast was good supplying ham, cheese, and sweet breads. Canned fruit and yogurt were also available. Overall we were quite satisfied with Hotel Bartolomeo. The location was very good. Close to Rialto bridge and 10 minutes from San Marco square.

It was right next to the Rialto Bridge and easy to get to from the airport. Just take the vapperetto line 1 or 2 direction to San Marco, and get off at Rialto.
