  I booked this hotel just a day or so before as we decided to stay in Frascoti rather than Rome.. We had had excellentluck with the hotels that we had booked before on bookings.com and this certainly held true with this one as well. The hotel was very attractive and so well situated- just a 3 mnute walk to the train station where we caught a train... what people say » to Rome and were in Rome in 25 min. - Beautiful setting, charming hotel, clean welcoming rooms, good breakfast, very helpful friendly staff especially when we arrived in the evening- altogether a joy to be there.   We booked a budget room but were upgraded, for a small negotiable additional charge, to a better room which had wonderful views over Lago Albino and facilities outside in which to relax and enjoy the view. The dog, Lu-La, while a Giant Canne Corso, is a cream puff who loves to be petted and will follow you all around the property but not into any of the facilities.
