Staff members were amiable and went out of their way to help make my stay a good one. - Amiable, willing to oblige staff. Located in a safe area, though central.   For a short ( 3 night) stay in central Berlin, we found it very good value for money. The rooms were very basic, but clean. We were really only at the hotel for sleeping and breakfast. (Not so good if you expect to spend a lot of time in your room; e.g. no tv). Breakfast was also basic, but it was fine and there was plenty. Free parking outside. - It was clean, friendly and great location, near to the city and transport facilities. Would go back for sure.

Within a couple of minutes you walk to the river Spree, which runs through the hart of the city. Big hotspots like Alexanderplatz, Checkpoint Charlie, Brandenburger Tor, Reichstag, Bundestag and Holocaust Denkmal are doable walking. I can recommend this hotel to anyone!

If you walk along the road under the railroad tracks it is about 5-10 minutes walk from hauptbahnhof. (Exit washingtonplatz) 3 houses next to the hotel is Don Giovanni, a very cheap but good restaurant. Italian restaurand, with good food for little money and friendly staff, next door made my kitchenett pontless, and i don't regret it. it's very close to many "must see" places. No screaming party drunks were heard in 5 days of my stay. suits very well for families.

  It was really clean, the staff was exceptionally friendly and the location was pretty good too. I stayed in a single room with attached bathroom. Although the hotel is situated next to a train line, my windows faced an inner yard and it was nice and quiet so I slept really well. The big windows hardly block out the light though so do consider brin... what people say » ging a blindfold. The hotel has really cosy common rooms with pool, huge TV set, boardgames etc but hardly anyone ever used it! - The staff was very nice and extremely helpful. We felt very much at home and enjoyed the breakfast at the hotel as well as a movie night in the cozy TV/DVD room after browsing through the great DVD selection of the hotel. Table tennis was also great fun. The hotel is very clean and the facilities are very functional.
