Stuttgart Hotels

Le Meridien Stuttgart is a large business hotel, at which we got a great rate for a weekend in August (€125, inc late check out at 8pm). The staff, the service, the rooms, bar and restaurant are all 5 star standard and the pool is lovely. The saunas and steam room are modern and of a great standard (no clothes in the sauna area, which you soon get used to in Germany!). We travelled straight from Germany to Italy, which made the difference between the hotels in both countries even more sta - Wendy

Well located (next to the Vaihingen Train (S and U Bahn) station) with shopping and restaurants located within walking distance. The rooms are very nice and comfortable with a reasonable mini bar. Internet is by either hard line or wireless. Some good views of the local area. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The hotel restaurant is great for it's breakfast buffet. The hotel bar in the lobby, while small, is lively, well stocked, and stays open late. If you are going to Stuttgart to work w - Christopher

Stayed here for a conference. It was the perfect location within 2 minutes of the railway station, the shopping street and 5 minutes to the University. The breakfast was really fantastic, something for everyone of every nationality. The room was fine although the TV was complicated to use and practically only German channels except CNN and lots of the usual porno channels. For me the pillow was too soft, but it always is! Stayed there for 5 nights. Hotel room was spacious and clean, Staff service was excellent; we had some work to catch up in the early hours of the morning, they were very accommodating in providing us with space in the breakfast room, and on occasion gave us coffee in the those early hours, (wifi speed was great). we had to depart early, and they provided us packed breakfast. thanks Christina, Inga, Breuer, and the tues, weds and thurs morning shift guy - Gary

This is a very good hotel with excellent acomodation. The room is above average in size but there is something that let me and my wife very surprised: In the first day, we went to the bathroom and there were a lot of shampoos and others. We spent these things and in the second day, they putted all again ! ( if you think that we are mad, you are not a constant traveller... I don't know why, but most of the hotels think that the prices are lower in subsequent days of your arrival and don't replac - Brian

This is in a convenient position for arrival at the main railway station and underground from the airport. The room was comfortable and relatively quiet given the volume of traffic. The leisure suite was attractively laid out but the pool was too cold for comfort and seemed little used. The breakfast seemed expensive at €22 pp but there are plenty of alternatives nearby. Stayed there as did a previous reviewer with Great Rail Journeys.We arrived very late as trains were delayed by two hours.We had a late meal which was excellent.We retired to the piano bar ,again excellent with ultra friendly bar staff. Room in hotel was spotless and very roomy.Bathroom again as you would expect.Going down to breakfast we found it to be somrthing else.The dining room was beautiful and the breakfast second to none.They had everything.Absulutely fantastic.Staff were very attenti - Tony

We stayed here for one night, as it was cheap (€49 for a double on a Friday night), close to the airport, and had a free shuttle. The nearest tram stop (Landhaus) is about a fifteen minute walk, but we only had hand luggage, so no problem. The room was clean, a good size, and well equipped. The restaurant food was fine, and the price okay (€45 for dinner for two). I would recommend this hotel for anyone using stuttgart airport, and who does not have their own transport. - Charles

I stayed here for 3 nights during my business trip. the hotel is a little older and hasn't been kept up as far as decor and renovations. i had to get off the elevator and then carry my luggage down one flight of stairs b/c the elevators stop 1/2 btwn each floor. when i got to my floor it had a weird smell that persisted the rest of the trip. i can't quite identify it, maybe cigarette smoke masked by a retched air freshener. the light bulb in my room was burnt out. overall, the room was comfortab - Douglas
