I liked everything about this hostel. It is on the 5th floor but
don't worry because they do have an elevator. The place was recently
renovated so everything is new, modern, and beautifully decorated
w/TV and nice quiet a/C. Even though it is on a very busy main
street, my room #12 was quiet because it faced into a courtyard. Wi-Fi
was free and worked great. The location could not be better. I could
walk to Sol, Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace and gardens, Plaza Espagna,
and the Opera house. The

Location superb - pedestrianised shopping strip right outside your door. Very safe area. Extremely helpful staff-thanks Mary and George for a great and comfortable stay. The boss is very nice. If you can meet him, you can get help, but it's not always there at receiption. The location is very good, but it's not easy to find it. -

It's an hostal, not an hotel. Said that, everithing was really good: WiFi decent, clean room (they clean it every day) and the staff is very helpful. Position is very good: really close to atocha, to the retiro gardens, the Prado, the modern art museum.. And close to city centre as well. In case in the district there are too different bars/pubs..
