  The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful, something we have found lacking in our stay at various hotels abroad. The room was very clean and comfortable and there were lots of little touches to make us feel welcome. The location was also very good, a few minutes walk from La Ramblas, but not close enough to be bothered by the noise. The facilities were fantastic, my son and I had a swim and the room had all those little extras that you might have forgotten. The best thing about this hotel though was the staff. We recieved a lovely welcome, they were fluent in a number of languages so our English was no problem. They were fabulous.

  It was right in the middle of the city and herself was delighted as it was on one of the main streets with all the famous Spanish retailers.   I really thought this hotel was excellent, the roof top bar was awesome, only ate at the hotel for breakfast and room service , but it was great, the staff had no problem making special request breakfast for me each day, when i go back to Barcelona this is where I will stay, and I would highly recommend it - Fabulous stay, hotel staff couldn't have... what people say » been more courteous andhelpful.   My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Colon hotel and would recomend this hotel as an excellent central location to explore Barcelona. You are right in the centre but yet in a very quiet peacful location just off La Rambla ideal for all restaurants, the bus tours etc which are a must for anybody visiting the city. We upgraded to a superior room and it had a huge bed with enough space and also a balcony / patio, we also got spa access included for upgrading. The staff were very helpful and you can help yourself to coffees and pastries in the afternoon free of charge which is a nice little extra. We will definitely be visiting this hotel again as it was great.

  The hotel had a lovely welcoming atmosphere. It was in an excellent location to the marina and also very easy to travel into city centre. The staff were very professional. We had our dinner in the hotel a couple of nights from room service and it was lovely and very reasonably priced.   The rooms are all individually designed and very unique. We stayed in the Ibiza room and the bed was very comfortable. The owner Fleur was the extremely friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Upon arrival and each morning we were also given homemade cakes which were amaxing and a lovely touch! The location is close - Salsas and Co is a fantastic Bed and Breakfast. The rooms are clean, stylish and comfortable, the breakfast is delicious and Fleur could not be more helpful or welcoming. I really can’t fault the place, it represents exceptional value for money. It is well situated for easy access to the Bus, Tram, Tourist Bus and Metro systems and is within walking distance of the centre. I would not hesitate to stay here again (in fact we plan to return soon) and I will be recommending to friends.
