Staff were always helpful and friendly and were good at "remembering the guests faces".
The lady serving breakfasts was so pleasant, cheerful and helpful. Her reputation on trip-adviser is well justified - she is a real credit to the hotel.The cleaning staff were accommodating when it came to access for room tidying etc.Good location close to Monumental underground station and local cafes etc.

Friendly, courteous staff. Nice room, felt like being at home. - We stayed there in March 2008. 2 quite big rooms. The images on site are much worser then the hotel is in reality. A lot of cafes are in the nearby. 20 minutes by walk from the centre, 3 minutes from FGC station (Pl. Molina, St. Gervasi).

A shared kitchen allowed cooking own meals, staff spoke perfect english and was very helpful - they even made some calls to solve a problem that happened to us while visiting another hotel. Our room was quite small but clean, functional and nice. -

I liked the location of the hotel which was on the tourist bus route so we weren't in the centre of the city. The staff were extemely friendly and helpful and the hotel itself was spotlessly clean. Friendly helpful staff willing to help in anyway possible, good planned night activities including pub crawls and a tasty paella night. Superb location seconds from the metro and the airport train. Very good value and the breakfast included was much appreciated. -

Located literally in the middle of El Gotic: few steps from the Cathedral, Placa Catalunya, and Placa Jaume. Friendly owner, spacious rooms. Even lack of elevator doesn't make it less convenient. I will certainly stay there again. -

ZooRooms is well located, close to Passeig de Gracia and subway, it is
also easy to get from/to airport by Aerobus. Inside it is very nice
and clean, with a fresh touch of design :) Beds are really comfy, water
in the shower is hot and stream is good (usually hotels like to limit
the stream ;). Also there are a good equipped kitchen and a room with
sofas and iMac to relax with friends and plan your trip in Barcelona.
