Friendly, courteous staff. Nice room, felt like being at home. We stayed there in March 2008. 2 quite big rooms. The images on site are much worser then the hotel is in reality. A lot of cafes are in the nearby. 20 minutes by walk from the centre, 3 minutes from FGC station (Pl. Molina, St. Gervasi).Staff was very helpful. Let me explain that I took this hotel to attend 3GSM. All other hotels within about 100 km of Barcelona appeared to be full and I considered myself very lucky to find this one. All hotels including this one sharply inflated their prices for the 3GSM week. I would normally stay at a better quality hotel, but it was perfectly adequate. The staff were friendly. The apartment was amazingly spacious.
all reviews » Definately as the place is great for the price.With children it was a good place as we had our own kitchenette and the supermkt is a mins from the hotel-the helpful staff will guide you, it would be good to know Spanish as most of the staff didn't speak any English.The Fontana metro is 2 stops from the Catalunya(Ramblas). It's a aparthotel, means you have a kitchen. Free wifi and near metro station.Kitchinette very useful. perfect location. The subway station Pl. Molina is just around the corner, only a fewstations to Pl. Catalunya where all the transportation transfers and LasRambles located. Very basic kitchenett in the apt, wouldbe nice to change the scatched nonstick pots/pans. The Hotel is not in city Center. Most of the stores around it is closed in weekends.The furniture. Hotel needs renovation, very dirty carpet in the room. The facilities in the kitchen seemed to be very dangers because of the face of them, except the fridge. The lights were too dark and TV was tooooooo small. air conditioning should have some kind of controller in the room.Very noisy location at night (not related to the hotel itself).
