  Alessio, the proprietor was very friendly and helpful. It was an old building with character, nicely furnished, solid. Rooms large enough, beds comfortable, linen clean. Use of kitchen very handy. Location in old part of town, good place to be, also near a railway station.

  Arrived in Viterbo and Matteo met us within 10 minutes. He was very friendly and spoke very good English. The rooms are clean with a full bath. The b&b was a little hard to find but we asked a local man and he was very kind in showing us the way. You can unload your car in front but because of the narrow streets you can't park on the street ... what people say » near the b&b but Matteo was very helpful in showing us where to park. The old town is a very special place and this b&b is conveniently locate - Matteo is the proprieter's son. He speaks English very well and was quite friendly. He helped us with everything we needed to get settled in the Medeival section of town. From parking the car - which was a little challenging due to the narrow streets, through finding our way around town. The property was immaculately clean and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast we were served was proscutto and other cured meats (made by his extended family's business-excellent), pastry, bread and coffee -

  Valentina was a wonderful host. Villa Farinella is a nice, relaxing place to stay outside of Viterbo. It is a short drive to Villa Lante (Bagnaia), Palazzo Farnese (Caprarola) and Sacro Bosco (Bomarzo), among other interesting historical sites.
