The owner was really lovely to us - because it was our honeymoon, there was a bottle of prosecco in our room when we arrived!   So good we have booked to stay a few more days at the end of our Italian Holiday. Excellent accommodation and service. Exceptional quality at a most affordable price.   The Pisani is an amazing hotel of old world charm and relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful furniture and surroundings made for the perfect stay. It was a perfect place to sit and sip Prosecco while watching the tourists drift by on their Gondolas.   We stayed at the Casanova apartment. The owner met us in the square where the apartment is and he was very friendly and showed us around the flat, gave us a map of the city, told us where the nearest vaporetto stop, supermarket etc is located. The flat is very central, only a few minutes walk from St Mark's square (must be the most crowded place... what people say » I have ever seen in my life) and equally close to Rialto bridge. When I booked the place, reading all the reviews I was convinced there would be no - The apartment (vivaldi) was very clean and the staff friendly. They didn't have a booking for our last day so they let us check out at 6pm. The apartment is not only central but in a proper strategic spot, everything was only 5 minutes away. It was warm, comfortable and gave lots of privacy. The two bedrooms were on the opposite sides of the apartment. The best thing was the terrace on top of the roof. It was big enough for 6 people to have dinner or breakfast with a a nice table and the view w
