This hotel is charming! Upon arrival, the very friendly and helpful staff were there to open the doors and offered us a cold drink and a place to sit and rest during check-in. This is especially important if you are arriving by train from other cities in Italy. nothing is easy to find in Venice except main landmarks) so be prepared
to walk aroung for an hour or so until you get used to the location.
Hotel has it's own pier so it is very easy to get if you take a

Although it is not on a canal, it's only 20 seconds walk to Grand Canal, 30 min leisuer walk to St. Marco's Squre, and 10 min walk to St. Lucia Train Station which is very convenient to us as we were travelling by train.

Location was about 10 mins walk from St. Marks Square. Close yet far enough away from crowds. Rooms were lovely.Ours was small but had view of canal while our friends had a huge room to make up for lack of view, I reckon! Personally, I loved room with a view. Staff very helpful and breakfast very tasty. All in all, great value.
