  Excellent location: 8 minutes from train station, 3 minutes vaporetto stop, 5 min to mini supermarket, 30 min walking to Realto Market. Plenty inexpensive cafe just 2 min. Very quiet, good sleep after busy day. Clean and safe area. Sergio (owner) and his wife very friendly, gave us good tips on visit. Clean and comfy flat had everything for cookin... what people say » g for a family and even washing mashine. Very warmin a flat. Big and clean comfi bed. Cleaned every day.If you like big breakfast, then you can always - This B&B is located very closely to the train station (5 min. walking) and bus station (10 min. walking). Also the water taxi stop Riva di Biasio is only 2 min. walking distance. The couple Sergio and Marcella are very nice, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious, prepared and served by Marcella in their little tiny kitchen. Also they let us keep the luggage in their house after checkout while we were sightseeing.   The hotel room overlooked the lagoon and had two small balconies. It was a few minutes from the water bus stop so easy to find on arrival and also close to St Marks square. The hotel reception and staff were very pleasant and helpful and the room was spotless.   We loved everything about Ca' Gottardi. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Fabio was a delight, and Luke must be the most friendly and positive Italian guy we have met on our trip :) The room we had was one with a view (ask for second building) and required walking up some stairs, but we did not mind! The snacks in lobby were always available,... what people say » and mostly gluten free :) Delicious coffee, cappuccino and more always available to enjoy with your biscotti...Wonderful breakfast with melon, prosci - Very nice accommodations: understated classy decor, very clean, very large bathroom, very secure & safe, wonderful selection for a lovely European breakfast, every staff member friendly and helpful, great location (away from the touristy centers but only 10-15 minutes to all of Venice by foot).
