Probably the nicest place my girlfriend and I stayed at during our trip
through Italy. (Admittedly, we were traveling on a budget and mostly
renting through airbnb.) This is a true B&B, with Massimo and his
wife coming in the morning to make us coffee. They were very friendly,
telling us to make ourselves at home and opening up the various cakes
and pastries in the kitchen. Venice is expensive, but Ca' Santo
Spirito was fairly good value for city.

This B&B is located very closely to the train station (5 min. walking) and bus station (10 min. walking). Also the water taxi stop Riva di Biasio is only 2 min. walking distance. The couple Sergio and Marcella are very nice, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious, prepared and served by Marcella in their little tiny kitchen. Excellent hotel location for walks in Venezia: most of tourist attractions can be simply reached. At the same time hotel is situated in quiet nice corner near Grand Canal, so crowds of tourists do not seriously disturb. It is wonderful breakfast in the hotel. My stay at Giudecca Bella was wonderful, and allowed for a more relaxed and quiet stay in Venice, than staying on San Marco. And the great thing is it is only 2 minutes away from San Marco on the ferry. Very friendly and welcoming, very pretty, and the price is right, particularly for Venice. Highly recommended! -
