This hotel was our favorite from all of our hotels this trip. The location was perfect for walking everywhere and easy access from the water taxi at Rialto bridge....just remember to turn at the Disney store and you'll always find it!
We did eat in the restaurant one night and it was very good. Our waiter was excellent and I'm pretty sure he is the only Italian waiter to have smiled at us our whole trip (no joke!)
We also had a couples massage one evening. Though I would not say it is a "spa"

This is a smaller boutique hotel with excellent service! Rooms are small but luxuriously appointed and comfortable with more storage than immediately meets the eye. Breakfast was excellent with delectable choices. The staff is kind and extremely helpful with requests and eager to make excellent suggestions for traveler's ease. Great location. Off the main bear but close to the Grand Canal, quiet neighborhood. Apartment was roomy lots of windows, air conditioned, 2 bathrooms. The rooftop terrace was a bonus! I think the price was a bit high for this apartment, although it is spacious and well facilitated, clean and quaint. -

An easy walk from Piazzale Roma bus station and Santa Lucia train station (no boat to catch, no dragging suitcases through the heavy tourist traffic). There was absolutely no noise from the train station or the canal adjacent the apartments.
Due to the location you do not get large numbers of passers by, so very peaceful.

The apartment was a lovely surprise. The building is quite new on two levels curving around a canal with a residential piazza at the front. The apartment we had is upstairs, sparkling clean, light, comfortable and well equipped. It is located a 10 minute walk from the station. We couldn't find it immediately but on the second walk past we realised that each house has its own number in the locality, rather than a street number.
