  A wonderful place to stay Great location, right on the water. A modern hotel built into an historic building. The room was adequate in size and amenities. Parking is close, but it is in the blue spaces so you need to be collecting coins to feed the meter. You don’t pay from midnight to 8:00 and for a few hours mid-day, so it is not expensive or a ... what people say » problem. It is only a few meters from Via Liberta, Via Garibaldi, Via Torrearsa which are the main shopping and dining streets. It is away from the cr - My family and I loved every minute of our stay at the beautifully renovated La Gancia! We stayed with a 4 month old baby and the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and happy! Personal attention and courtesy was given by all the staff: at reception, breakfast bar and evening drinks. Thank you Residence La Gancia, we will recommend you to all our friends.

From the moment we arrived and were shown where park the car, and the luggage bought to our room when we got back to the moment we left when the luggage was kindly loaded into our car for us. I have never stayed at such a place with 5 star service at a fair price. The rooms were so clean and fresh and the restaurants the staff recomme... what people say » nded and even booked for us were excellent. They even helped us sort out a parking fine we incurred on an outing around the city. Breakfast was great - The B&B is very conviniently located in the heart of Trapani. The owner, Aldo, was very friendly and recommended beaches and local restaurants. The room, although comfortable, lacked charm and light. I would definitely go back for the location and the friendliness of the staff but not for an extended stay. The B&B provided a breakfast at a local pastry shop nearby (coffee and a pastry).   We were upgraded to a different residence - we had booked the San Domenico Residence but we slept in Badia Nuova Residence. The room was perfect for a couple with cooking possibilites.
