  Very friendly staff, especially the owner who really cares about you and your comfort. This hotel also has his own restorant with the view to the mountains. Food regional, but served very well. Very breath taking mountain view around the hotel, don't even need to go far away. Very good footpaths around for those who fancy walks in the mountains. This hotel is perfect for those who want to relax at the top of mountains or for those who appreciate the mount - I am seduced by the hotel and its team. If you are a couple, willing to spend great time in the region, book this hotel with a room having a sight on the mountains. It costs a bit more but it is certainly worth doing it. Spend the night in the restaurant of the hotel too, it will be a great experience. My girlfriend and I were so happy about ouf first night there that we canceled a reservation in another hotel just to spend one additional night in this one. Just great.

  We chose this location for the first week of our honeymoon...which we took our 11 month old monster baby with us. It was simply awesome. I think we had the smallest of the rooms, the Rake, just a lovely self catering apartment and if I wasn't 6'4ft it would be perfect....only bumped my head once mind you. Owners were terrific Living space was nice Kitchen was great to have Pizzeria on the way to Saint Pierre, off the left side of the rd, under the castle was delicious. Shower, great. The hotel owner is very friendly and helpful-he let us choose the room we preferred, recommended a number of attractions and restaurants, provided with hot water to heat baby’s bottles and answered our numerous questions. Room was a tad shabby but he let us pick which one we wanted and for the price it was great! Nice little town to stay in.
