Unusually, for a Roman hotel, it was set in an oasis of calm, withdrawn from the bustle of the city but yet readily accessible. Breakfast was excellent, consisting of cold meats, cheese, eggs, fresh fruit, cereals and numerous tarts and pastries.   I liked my room a lot. It was more than comfortable. The bathroom was nice, but not having a shower curtain or door took a bit of getting used to. I didn't like splashing water all over the bathroom floor. This hotel had a blow dryer that worked well. For the most part, most hotels tend to offer those old 1970 blow dryers that are more like hoses... what people say » . Not this one. I was quite happy about that. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. I loved having a balcony and being able to open the - Excellent location with the Vatican a 5min walk. Rooms were very clean, breakfast was basic but for the price you pay it sets you up well for the day. All round, would highly recommend!

  We got an upgrade to an excellent room. The staff were extremely nice and helped us with our Italian. Barbara was especially nice and made our reservation at the Borgese gallery.
