  Excellent value for money and close enough to centre to walk; 15/20 minutes. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Parking can be a problem but after the first night we were given a space in the hotel garage round the corner. Best if you have a small car. Our room 414 was spacious enough for 3 nights with a balcony and a very modern bathroom.... what people say » All very clean. Free Wi-fi which always worked really well. Also found 3 very good reasonably priced local restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Breakfa - It was very nice and confortable, the rooms were modern and had every facility, breakfat was really good. They rent bikes so you can visit the city faster! But anyway, its just a 10 minute walk away from the Duomo, which I think is the main attraction, the hotel is close to a supermarket and different shops, cafes and restaurants, I really enjoyed my stay, the staff is pretty kind and helped me with everything i needed.Totally recommended!

  The owners Nadine and Giovanni were so helpful with everything from adapter plugs to bookings for all the local attractions. We arrived very late at night and had difficulty getting a taxi and when i phoed the hotel to explain we were going to be delayed they came and picked us up. A very pleasant experience all round.   The staffs are very friendly, gave us a map and point out where we should visit even without us asking. The location is excellent, just 2 minutes walk from the main train station. The room we got, room 14, was told to be the best room in the hotel, with a beautiful little balcony that over sees the beautiful Florence town. The size of the bathroom... what people say » is just nice and clean with shower door. The room has air conditioning which allow us to switch from heater and cool. It's very quiet at night. Over - We travelled as a group of 8 people. The desk personnels were very accommodating to let us get started with the complimentary breakfast earlier than their usual allowing us to get started with our Tuscan tour. The views of the two rooms facing the Doumo was breath-taking. I would go back to this hotel and recommend it.

  You probably wont find a hotel which treats you nicer in Florence. The hotel is small but the location is excellent. The staff and in particular the manager is exceptionally friendly and sincerely wants you to have a good stay (more than you can say about many 4-5 star hotels). I will never stay any place else when going to Florence (business or pl... what people say » easure) - We found the staff at Hotel Balcony extremely helpful and accommodating. The value for our money was great and the location was perfect. Breakfast was simple but very tasty and there was a very nice restaurant next door for lunch or dinner. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

  The hotel is about 4 minute walk from the train station, which is very convenient and there are restaurant nearby. In all the hotels we stayed this month, I have to say this is the most comfortable one and the staff is really nice and kind. It is family run and they are very friendly and helpful even though our Italian is poor. Santa Maria Novella Station is close and major sights are within walking distance.   We stayed in a room with a balcony. The view was great - one of the best in town and definitely the best 2-star in Viageggio. - Fantastisk staff, great location at the beach. Small bathroom and no aircondition was no bother
