charm, ease of stay, beauty and so close to lovely Bergamo. If you are
tired of millions of tourists I reccomend that you come to Laura's
and enjoy the hospitality, beautiful wooded countryside the Old and New
town of Bergamo. The interior of the Bergamo churches exceed Venice. You
will enjoy exploring both new and Alta Citi and the Italian Lakes to the
east of Bergamo along with the vineyards which look and feel like
Chianti.

We loved Il Grappollo. The owner Ivana was the most welcoming, helpful and gracious host. She picked us up from the station at Bianzone and dropped us off at Tirano station the next day to catch the Bernina Line to Seitzerland, a wonderful recommendation. Our room was beautiful. The bed very comfortable. Lovely en suite and the view from our balcony was spectacular, snow capped mountains and sweeping valley views. Maybe one of the best studio-room I've ever been in. Awesome "magazine-design" room, with chimney and unbelievable views to whole city. The location is in the city centre of Citta Alta, which is the most touristic area in Bergamo. If I knew this city and hotel would be so great, I would surely have spent more than one day there.

Rocco and his wife are absolutely accommodating and friendly. They picked me up at the airport at 11pm at night and delivered me back the next day. Provided tea on arrival and some snacks plus a delicious breakfast!! Perfect for a 1 night stop over when you need to be close to the airport

We liked the location and the proximity to the train station, all Bergamo attractions, restaurants and easy access to Milano. We appreciated the free parking but the best was our host, Giuseppe. He waited for us even though we were delayed and he was absolutely great. -

The host (Gilly) is a very friendly person and does everything which is possible to satisfy you.
The room are very nice decorated and very clean. Eveything looks brand new, although it opened two years ago.
You have an amazing view over the lake.
It is very quiet. Breakfast is italian style but you get verything you need and you can have in on the terrace enjoing the view.
Plenty of space to park your car.
It is really a nice and peacefull place.
