This hotel is a beautifully restored two hundred year old grand house beside the ancient walls of the temples. The room was spacious and scrupulously clean. The staff was friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Booked tours and recommended restaurants. We felt very much at home. There was adjacent parking on the street. -

We stayed in Hotel Diamond as an overnight stop en route home to London from Positano. At the last minute we got seats on a flight leaving at 9.00pm and checked out much to the consternation of the manager who thought we didn't like the hotel. On the contrary, the room was clean and spacious and I give the staff 11 out of 10 for their helpfulness in arranging luggage and taxis at the drop of a hat.

This is a wonderful older hotel in a charming hill town off the beaten track. While there are no major museums, the town is authentic and has several terrific restaurants. Hotel also has a great pool and view can't be beat. No crowds, mostly all Italian travelers, and wonderful fresh mountain air. A true respite from the hectic heat of August days in the busier Italian cities with a glimpse into the real Italian countryside.

The family that runs the Hotel and the sweet women that showed us are room were very helpful with any question we had. The owner helped us get our train arrangements to get back to Rome since it was confusing to us.
