  The owner Martina was exeptional and this made our stay special. Genuinely friendly and excellent with the kids (4,7 & 10yrs). She gave good advice on the trips we proposed and lent us a helpful guide of the ruins. The appartment and room we rented were both clean, spacious, well equiped and tasefully decorated. It is within easy walking distance to town, close to the ruins, a major supermarket and major - Martina and Antonella were the perfect hosts - they couldn't do enough for you. It felt like we were part of their family. The accommodation is delightful - reflecting Martina's design skills. An excellent breakfast set us up for the day; we had a scrumptious Italian dinner prepared for us on one evening.   We stayed here to be close to the Pompeii archeological site. The hosts did everything they could to make us welcome and to help us visit the ruins, despite the fact that they spoke little English. The room was nothing fancy but we had everything we needed, and they provided secure parking right next door.   I stayed in a single room and it was amazing for hostel standards! Big double bed, spacious room & big bathroom (with good hot water), all very very clean! The staff that work in the morning are lovely!! One of them helped me carry my luggage to the train station when I checked out. The staff were very helpful and went out of their wayto do anything we needed. There are many outstanding places to eat within walking distance and shops to visit. If traveling by the local train from Naples use the station by the church to exit, it is by the church. We would stay here again.
