  This was the best hotel we've stayed in Italy! We've been to Roma, Firenze, Venezia on similar (cheap) hotels and this was by far the best. The outside look isn't great and can be a shock upon arrival, but most of the buildings in Palermo are like that, so don't be put off by your first impression. We stayed in a spacious room with TV, a mini-fridge, air-conditi - Recently refurbished with modern open public areas on ground floor with small bar area. Very comfortable reasonably sized room in which everything worked very well - efficient AC and excellent hot water pressure although the shower cubicle is one of those very compact jobs. The reception staff are very friendly, extremely helpful and informative and speak good English. The hotel is very centrally located and for the price it would be difficult to find a better hotel in Palermo.

  Highly recommended. Newly renovated and decorated with care to a high standard in a very pleasant style (as on the pictures). Very, very clean. The place was very clean and modern. The bathroom for the room is not actually connected to the room but across the hall. This isn't a big deal as there are only about 4 rooms in the hall. The minibar is cheap and well stocked. There is a supermarket just around the corner as well as some nice restaurants and an information centre.   This is an interesting place in the absolute heart of old Palermo. It has an art gallery on the ground floor and occupies several rooms of a renovated apartment block.   Very cozy, family-run hotel. Staff does really everything to make one feel at home. The rooms are very Italian style which I prefer a zillion times over the so-called "boutique"-style that seems to be more and more the same all over the world. Central location and only a few minutes walk from Central railway station. Good sized room with power shower, TV, adequate furniture, security, very friendly staff and a lovely breakfast of croissants, pastries, fruit, cereals, biscotti, fruit juices, water, cappucino, coffee and teas. The view from the balcony was typically Italia and I loved it.
