  Friendly and helpful owner. Unique and well thought out hotel within easy walk of the old town of Lucca. - The building was very old and full of character and features. It was beautifully furnished and decorated in-keeping with the style and period of the building. Miriam made us feel most welcome from the start.   This was a delightful place to stay with Manuela being so helpful and friendly to all her guests. Breakfast was lovely and when weather was nice we got to mingle with other guests - even in the afternoon when we could sit in garden having tea and coffee with whoever was around from sightseeing the town which is only 2 to 3 minute walk away. Anot... what people say » her bonus was free internet available in each room - The owner is the nicest host you could ever ask for. The room (family sized) was awesome with plenty of space. The beds were comfortable. The location is great, very close to the walls of central Lucca. It's in a quiet neigborhood with small shops (pastry, laundry, and others) within a short walk. Breakfast was better than expected and again the owner is the perfect host.
