    Of course, this is the best apartment I have stayed in during my Europe trip! Perfect location: few minutes walk to the bus station(poor metro in Roma, so bus is the best travel tool) and excellent location in the old city. Of course, passionate Valeria gave us big warm welcome at the apartment and arranged car pickup at airport. Her grea - Very nice and cosy apartment with everything you need (kitchen equipment, wifi, hair dryer, washing mashine, etc.). Communication was also very good. The location is just perfect: quiet but very close to major attractions like vatican and the very cool neighborhood of Trastevere with loads of nice restaurants, bars and shops. Would definitely recommend this place.

    The nuns were very welcoming. There were a couple nuns who spoke English, and the ones who didn't speak English were happy to go get one who did so we could get directions or recommendations on nearby restaurants. The 'shared bathroom' wasn't a problem at all, as the 'bathrooms' are actually each a small, separate room containing its own to - the staff was very friendly and polite. breakfast was good for us. i travelled with my mom and she enjoyed having breakfast in their green well maintained terrace, may be not enough for male travellers but for us it was more than ok. in walking distance to most sights. at first it was hard for us to find it so i would recommend to write them and ask for directions paying closer attention to how manyy blocks and which streets to pass once you get off the bus near the bridge. rooms are as simple

    The Eraclea apartment had a great view and was just right for the 2 of us. It was advertised as a 4 bed apartment but it would have been a bit of a squeeze to have 4 people there.     This place is a Trastevere gem! The location is fantastic, right in the heart of all of the action (noise wasn't too bad, didn't have to use the ear plugs I brought). Beautifully appointed, recently renovated rooms. Staying here made us feel like we were living like locals, rather than hotel guests.     The room and toilet are clean, just exactly what we need on our stay. The apartment building is in the middle of the local area in Rome and centrally located to all the tourist attractions. The host is also very nice and helpful.     We stayed in the Marchesi apartment. The apartment was quite large, updated and in a really good location. It had a lift so getting our 4 large luggage up to level 2 was no problem. Although the lift is really tiny. Staff was nice. They were able to change our appointment time to an hour later as our luggage got left behind in Paris and we needed ... what people say » the extra time to sort everything out. We got to check in early, leave our luggage there but were asked to leave and come back at 2pm as the cleaner n - We stayed in the Campo de Fiori apartment, its key benefit being the superb location. You get the best of both worlds here: arguably Rome's most vibrant neighborhood at your doorstep; and much needed peace and quiet - all at the same time. At first it's a bit hard to find, but once you know where it is you realize that you are in the best area of the city. The rooms are not big but very neat and snug.     The location is excellent in terms of being close to all the historical centre of Rome. It is 1/2 block off of the Campo, so you get a little noise on weekends, but the windows of LR and one bedroom overlook the little street below and it is fun to watch and hear local activity of the day. The furnitu - The location was excellent, we could more or less walk to all sites in rome, just make sure you have a good map as some of the routes are quite difficult to follow. The appartment itself was clean and had all necessary facilities, so we were very pleased! Also a quick tip, if you plan to visit the Vatican and Coloseum it is well worth gettig up early to get there for the opening times as the ques for later on can be very long.
