  Actually the hotel is composed of some rooms in some floor of some Scala of some building close to Vatican and all the staff are just a lovely sympathetic Italian man who speaks better by hands and mime rather than English and a woman comes daily to clean the rooms.   The location is near the train station and the shopping areas, with walking distance to the Colosseum and Forum. The owner is super kind, I spent over 20 days travel around Europe with heavy baggage, only this guy came out and help my wife to bring the luggage upstairs. He did the samething to offer his help to bring down all our luggag - Right from the moment of the initial, the team at Matisse couldnt have been more helpful and professional. Roberto, the owner, was charming. The relaxed atmosphere was welcome after a long day travelling. His restaurant recommendation was perfect. Although they were fully booked on our last pass thru Rome, the staff once again went above and beyond by helping us find alternate accommations in their neighbourhood. We will definetly stay here again and highly recommend BB Matisse! Many thank

  The location was excellent, right next to St. Peter's basilica, the staff was incredibly friendly and super helpful, the rooms were very clean and beautifully designed. There breakfast was fantastic, a lady cooked it for you, the fully equipped kitchen was at your disposal free of charge. Water, coffee, cakes, snacks were all free of charge.
