  The location (few steps away from Piazza di Spagna) and the decoration of the rooms. This place is in the heart of Rome, perfectly located for a city/shopping trip. All the areas were clean and we loved our stay there. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone travelling to Rome. It's very small, with just 4 rooms. It is brand-new and just opened in the fall of 2013. When we had an issue with the mattress being too hard the manager addressed it right away by putting a soft cover on it. The street has hardly any cars which is nice but there is a restaurant right below so you will need to close the windows to sleep.

  We found the Residenza Domiziano a wonderful hotel. They did everything possible to make our stay in Rome a wonderful experience. They arranged for a van to come to where we our cruise ship landed and was plenty big enough for seven pieces of luggage and four passengers.   This Hotel is a true gem while in Rome. Location is walking distance from the Vatican. Carlos, the front desk host was extremely helpful. He helped us find information we needed. We had so many questions and he answered them always with a smile.
