  This hotel was quite simply one of the nicest we have ever stayed in. The sheer delight of being in such a historic building, beautifully restored with spacious rooms and excellent facilities was a treat not to be missed. I would definitely stay here again and - Room size was considerably amazing as a double economy that could fit 4 double beds iside. Original features and interiors, lovely 15th century palazzo which has a more personal feel than a hotel. Chic without being expensive and snobby. - Staff totally responsive when had an air conditioning problem. Staff were very helpful and able to answer all our information requests. Room perfectly suited our needs - staff responded to booking request to provide room away from noise.

We went up a few times throughout our stay and there was never anyone up there - we were able to take photos and just relax. The staff was very friendly and helpful - at the desk 24 hrs a day. The location was excellent. We walked everywhere and saw all of the main Florence sites. There were great restaurants and shopping nearby. The room

Office for check-in was between station and apartment so easy to access. - Good location, the design of the appartment is interesting, all equipment is modern.

  I have known this 'hotel' for some 25 years. First it was a "locanda"; something lower than a hotel. I had not been there for a decade or more and this time found it had upgraded itself to a 'hotel,' level 3 in the Italian style of rating. I did not notice any appreciable difference with its earlier facilities.   Being south of the Arno, the prices of food, goods , etc seemed slightly lower. The staff could not have been any nicer, wormer, more friendly.
