  We stayed here for 10 days it became our home away from home. The room was bright, clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was very large and also comfortable. Lu made our stay memorable. She treated us like family and was extremely helpful to me when I sprained my ankle; she sent my husband out to the pharmacy for a special cream and came to ... what people say » the room with ice for my ankle and a tray with hot tea and cake. She also gave us great advice on places to eat. Casa di Eddy is located wonderfully - The staff were friendly, hotel was lovely and clean. There was a kitchen which had a fridge you could use and cakes / tea / coffee left out . Free breakfast from the cafe across the road. We had the economy room with the external bathroom. 5 minutes walk from the Colosseum although we did walk to the Vatican which took an hour. The metro station was around the corner and for 1.50 euros takes you to the Vatican in 10mins. If you have never been to Rome there isnt really a central location to vis

  This hotel is really convenient to exploring Old Rome. The Coliseum was a little bit of a walk, but all the other big sights were within a 20 minute walk.   I can't say enough about Nadia who was so helpful and attentive to our every need. Nothing was too much trouble for either Nadia or her colleague Maria and there was a mobile phone in the room which we could take with us if we had any questions, needs or if we got lost, which we did a lot although we did find our way eventually without having to c... what people say » all Nadia. I would highly recommend this hotel for the staff and location alone but it ticks all the boxes. It's not a flash 5 star hotel but its perf - The location was great and once you get your bearings and how the streets are signposted, it was easy to get around. The staff were great and very helpful. A big thanks to Nadia and Maria who helped with last minute tour issues via email. Breakfast was good and expresso did the trick first thing in the morning. Rooms were comfortable and clean and all we expected. It was close to the bus drop off from airport so no need for finding taxis.
