I very much liked the simple, un-fussy atmosphere, like an old fashioned pensione; the situation was superb, with the Pantheon outside my window. But I thought it was too expensive for what it was - €170 a night is a lot for a very unpretentious place. - Fantastic room, not in the actual hotel. View of Panthenon, wow! Good security.

The location of the hotel is fantastic and centrally located for all the
major attractions, yet very quiet for sleeping. The hotel offered an
excellent breakfast with a good choice of food, including cooked, cold
meats, fruit, cereals, breads. To our extremely pleasant surprise we
were upgraded to an appartment on the top floor with a rooftop patio
overlooking Rome. It was all absolutely fabulous. No complaints at all
and would definitely recommend.

Location Location Location! 5 minutes walk to the Pantheon or Piazza Navona which is a good starting point for any visit to Rome. Delux Room had plenty of space and comfortable, albeit 2 single beds pushed together, rather than the double we were expecting. Air conditioning was a life saver in the heat. We took a taxi from Termini station direct to the hotel. Easy to find, apart from we were not aware that the reception is on the 4th floor. I had all sorts of problems that stressed me out the day I checked in. The cab driver couldn't find the hotel and dumped me out blocks away with heavy luggage because he could not find the street and When i finally arrived I realized I had managed to lose the key to my suitcase! Wonderful hotel! the staff was friendly, gave us great recommendations to restaurants & booked for us the web reservation for the different sites.

We spent 4 nights in Rome and Hotel de Teatro became our home-away-from home. Great location near Piazza Navona and Campo di Fieri. Paulo at the front desk was very helpful and spoke impeccable English although I tried some Italien. The breakfast was delicious, our room comfortable and spacious and very clean.
