Hostel was quite far from Firenze SMN (central station), but reachable by bus in 10 minutes or taxi (10 EUR).
Rooms clean. Common showers, but plenty of, clean and everything worked well.
Breakfast and dinner were cheap but decent, especially dinner (many delicious dishes with a glass of wine for only 9 EUR, unbeatable offer).
Groceries and ticket office right in front of the hostel.
International community, stuff spoke good english.
Maps and guides for free on reception.

One of the best hostels I've stayed at. Check in was simple, and the people were very kind. It's a huge hostel/hotel so it doesn't have the general "hostel atmosphere" in main areas, but I stayed in a female dorm with 5 other girls, and made instant friends! The staff we're nice and obliging. 24 hour reception and no curfew. The rooms were great and kept quite tidy. Bathrooms were kept very clean which was nice. Free wi-fi was awesome. If you want to spend your last day exploring- you can leave your bags at the hotel and pick them up later so you don't have to take them around with you all day.
