  We were positively surprised how the staff is friendly and make all guests feel like in their own home. I loved the quitness of the island. - The breakfast is quite sober but good enough for us! - Keep in mind that you will have to travel with a vaperetto (waterbus) from venice to a seperate island! Trip will take 20 minutes and than you will have to walk for 15 minutes (or make an appointment with the hotel for a free shuttle service! The walk is nice so we didn't use this service). - Don't expect luxury, just a place to sleep!

  The best hotel I've been in Italy. No doubt. Loved the hotel, loved the staff, loved our room. It even had a small and unexpected jacuzzi. It was further away then what was promised on bookings.com , not a problem though, since there was a small vaporino shuttle running whenever we need it to - even late at night!!   Liked everything about this hotel. Calm location away from the tourist hassle and just 5­-7 min walk from piazza San Marco. May be a bit far from the train station but for us it was not a problem, walking through Venice is a pleasure of its own. Besides you can always take a vaporetto which stops nearby. They have a wonderful garden on the waters edge, with comfy chairs to relax in and watch the sun go down. Food excellent and staff very friendly and helpful.
