  Location location location!! I stayed 12-17 Aug 13 in Room 1 (4 rooms in B&B incl common kitchen & rooftop terrace) EUR60/nite incl light b/f at Cafe nearby. This is 10/10 in terms of price vs facilities. My beef in Taormina is always that the cheeky sods want to charge you the max and give you as little - Great position immediately adjacent to Porta Messina and close to everything in Taormina including the incredible Greek Theatre. Through Porta Messina is the main pedestrian street along which is Piazza IX Aprile with incredible views of the coast and Etna. Just down the road is the gondola to Isola Bella and the beach if you don't want to do the steps. There is some noise from the busy street but sitting on your balcony you will be entertained by the constant parade of cars,buses,scooters and
