  Carlo Alberto bb is very clean, staff are very friendly, very near to termini and near to the sightseeings. The best I liked is the Metro Station few steps away from the bb. They are very organized. The hotel is in the fourth floor but there is an elevator starting from floor One. You just have to take stairs for one floor.   It was a great choice. We got there from Ciampino airport in 1 hour. It's very close to metro station Vitorio Emanuel- just 2 minutes. If you want you can go to Termini station and it's just 5 minutes walk - but Termini is crowded. The church St.Maria Maggiorie is about 3 minutes walk and around this church there are many bus stops. On this street... what people say » there are two mini markets - cheap and with all the products. It's a China town but very safe and calm area. When you are well prepaired to your jour - Fantastic location close to the Railway Central and main tourist attractions. Once inside, the city noise was shut out, come and go as you please and only up 5 steps to get inside. Nice and clean and very friendly staff - free access to internet.

  Friendly staff, very helpful. Held our bags for us even after we had checked out. I noticed how clean it was, especially the bathroom! Very happy with our stay and the best part for us is that we felt very safe. Reception had to buzz us in so we could go upstairs to get to our room. Clean, safe and friendly, there isn't much better than that! ... what people say » - Close to the main train station, very pleasant, friendly staff, air conditioning was great (very hot in Rome that day). Good breakfast included. Was concerned about making reservations here because of negative reviews, but we found none of the problems mentioned, and we would definitely stay there again & recommend it.

  The location was great. The Metro was right outside the front doors, making it so easy to get around. The Vatican was a short ride away. We set up our own walking tour and from the hotel to the Colosseum, Pantheon, and Trevi Fountain was about a 5 hour walk... Round-trip!!! Pretty amazing! - Dominico was friendly and businesslike.
