In general the room, the staff who was very kind. People often complain about the breakfast but I think it is just fine. It is enough, at least :) Everything was clean, so nothing to say there. I booked a single room without bathroom so you can imagine my surprise when I was offered an appartment instead! It was big, quiet, and fully equiped. Rooms in 4 star hotels aren't even half as good! The guy at the reception was unbelievably friendly, he helped me with the luggage, printing a plane ticket and even exchanged me a few british pounds

It was a typical Italian city centre budget hotel staff were all family and treated us very well. Location is ideal for sight seeing and facilities in Florence. Not a luxury hotel, but hard to find any fault with place or service or price.
