It was a great stay in Hotel Genzianella. The staff is really polite and all of them speak english. We checked in on friday 8th november. They gave us a city map, explain how to find all the sights, where to eat local tasty food, but not in the tourist area. Also the hotel is 24/7. It is 20 minutes far away from the station and 10 minutes from Duo

We only stayed for one night, so I can't really offer a great review...but our room was clean, large and comfortable, the man at reception was very friendly and helpful, WiFi was free and worked okay, and the location is great. Although we didn't use them, the common room and dining area looked nice too!

The hotel is in an extremely good location--easy access to the train station and restaurants. The staff were very helpful as described in other customer comments. The hotel and its rooms are extremely safe as they are behind several entrances and on the third floor (with an elevator). Single women travelers would love the security offered here.

The location was fantastic, easy walking distance from the train station and to all major tourist spots. Lots of dining options very close by. And both the central market and the leather market less than 2 minutes away! I asked the desk to change my air conditioning setting so I could make the room nice and comfortable when I returned from my excursions. I would definitely stay here again.

The desk personnels were very accommodating to let us get started with the complimentary breakfast earlier than their usual allowing us to get started with our Tuscan tour. The views of the two rooms facing the Doumo was breath-taking. I would go back to this hotel and recommend it.

Location was quite close to Santa Maria Novella station and it is near to every attractions in Florence. You only have to walk for about 10-15 minutes to the main Duomo. The receptionist was very helpful and gave us a complete information about Florence. He also let us to check in earlier than the schedule. -

In general the room, the staff who was very kind. People often complain about the breakfast but I think it is just fine. It is enough, at least :) Everything was clean, so nothing to say there. And they kept our bags even after we checked out (we checked out in the morning and had a late evening flight). -
