  Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and helpful, providing us maps and directions for visiting the city. They speak English very well. The location is excellent, as you can walk for 10 minutes to get to Piazza San Pietro or to Musei Vaticani. The hotel is very close to the metro station which gets you anywhere else in the city and also has a b... what people say » us station just in front of it. They serve very good cappuccinos as well :) Would definitely stay there again. - It's a 20 minute walk to the Vatican, maximum 10 minutes to the subway. At the Valle Aurelia Station you go up an then go by foot on Via Anastasio II. Also there is a bus station in front of the hotel, with 2 buses leading in different areas in the city center. The room was simple with old furniture, but it was clean, with enough space and a nice balcony. All in all, it's a good place to crash when on a budget; good value for money.

  The guesthouse is a great refuge from the bustle of Rome. The rooms as well as public facilities are spotlessly clean. The breakfast is wholesome with plenty of choice. The location just a few hundred metres from several bus stops and Cornelia metro station is ideal.   The staff is great, willing to help answer any questions. Quick to check you in and help you with directions to 'main city sites'. Entire staff makes you feel like family. The room was very comfortable, exactly what is needed for a leisure trip at an excellent price. Public transportion - extremely close. We stayed in the "attic" room and shared a bath. The sloping ceiling in the attic room was fine and gave us lots of room for our luggage. The shared bath was always clean. Breakfast was good, also.
