It's a bit tricky for me to comment on B&B La Casa Rosa Suite. When we arrived Eleana greeted us but told us that the B&B was full and that we would be staying in an apartment in the centre of Bergamo. The owner, Bice, was exceptionally kind and personable. During our brief stay, Bice went out of her way to help us see Bergamo Alta [the old town]. The B/B was a comfortable, homely self-contained bedsit with kitchenette, and bathroom with bidet.The breakfast was the best ever - cooked eggs, cereal, fruit, yogurt, cold meat, cheese,toast,croissants,cakes - even meringues! Bice was delightful - nothing was too much trouble for her.

I agree with the other reviews. This is a very comfortable place to stay. I especially appreciated the good sized kitchen. The owners are kind and go beyond what is necessary to make sure guests have an enjoyable stay. This was my first time in Bergamo. Elisa was there to meet me when I arrived and offered useful suggestions about places to eat

We just stayed one night to catch early morning flight from Bergamo Airport. Location is perfect, 15 minutes drive to- from the Airport.
We stayed in the family room with beautiful Terace-Garden.
Even we left very early in the morning, the owner prepared some sandwiches for us as take away.

Rossana, who runs the B&B, is delightful. She was so helpful in giving us information about Bergamo. We were able to park our car underneath the building. It is a really nice set-up and not far from the old city of Bergamo, as well as within driving distance of other places to visit, such as Lago d'Iseo and Crespi d'Adda village. Ideal transfert organized by Phillippo to hotel, very late at night. It took some 10 minutes, otherwise it would be hard to find house in darkness without proper map. Room was large and comfortable, bathroom idealy clean. We were served traditional Italian breakfast, with tasty grapefruit juice and toasts.
The hotel was empty as tourism season was over, so we could feel like at home.

The hotel is indeed an apartment in the old building in the centre of the city, almost in front of the walls of Citta Alta. Even cups, wardrobe and bureau are old and pretty.

i stayed with my wife in this lovely guest house in bergamo city centre. the place was very clean and cosy and it is highly recommendable. the staff was very friendly and helpful, they explained us everything from where are the best restaurants to eat, how to get to the old city(and the old city cathedral is a must see) to how to get to the aeroporto. so it was an excellent experience.
