  We arrived there very late (11pm), and forgot to call the place and notify them. We were very worried about unable to check in that night.   It’s really a lovely spot - away from all the city noise (and yet only 8 km away from Florence), lost in the dream landscape of the Tuscan countryside. There’s nothing more I can add really!   I'm sad to say we were only at Agriturismo I Poggi one night, we wish our stay would have been longer! From the moment we arrived, to the time we left, the staff helped us with anything we needed, and spoke English very well. The two bedroom apartment had plenty of room, and the kitchen was well stocked with equipment to make our meals. We were able to enjoy a bottle near the pool area - There was lots of room. There were two bedrooms. One had a double bed and one had a set of twins. There were cupboards to hang clothes;. The kitchen was well equipped with a big fridge, sink, dishes and cooking utensils.The parking was behind a locked gate at night, and once past the house and store, there was plenty of parking. The tourist bureau was helpful, and the food at Bellavista Restaurant was excellent. There is a Saturday market in the town of Impruneta.

  this hotel is absolutely fantastic place for staying at. We love it so much. Being there we felt the true and beuatifull Italy. We recomend it to those who are looking for pleasant and peacefull rest. But of couse you have to rent car - without car it won't be easy to reach this place. P.S.   This was a fantastic place to stay. The hosts Jennifer and Francesco were very helpful. Nothing was a trouble to them. We felt we were part of the family. It was wonderful to come back after a long hot day doing the museum and church scene in Florence to relax in the pool and enjoy a meal you prepare in your appartment. We did a wine tour of Chianti and had lunch at a vineyard suggeste - Our hosts Jennifer and Francesco are very affable and give nice hospitality. We had a flat tire and Francesco without any hesitation suggested to help us. He took the tire with his car in order to repair it. We understood that if we have any problem we can be sure that our hosts will provide assistance. We had a nice apartment for 2 people. The location of the residence is very good since it is close to different roads to make tours in Toscana area but there is no need for a car for Firenze. Y
