Everything was perfect. Typical Toscana house, nice and clean room with Toscana-style furniture, relax, lavender, rosemary and other herbs in the garden, a little shop and an outdoor fitness area. But you need a car, it is a long way from Rifugium to the Greve-town. And Daniele was very nice and helpful!

Il Caesllo is the perfect Italian getaway! Paolo and Angelica were fabulous hosts - they were very sweet, kind and helpful, and both spoke excellent English. Il Casello is absolutely gorgeous! Our room and bathroom were lovely and spacious, with breathtaking views of Chianti. The bed was very comfortable and the room was air conditioned, but the windows also opened for cool morning and evening breezes. There was a charming communal sitting room for reading by the fireplace. Plenty of tables

Greve was a lovely location and Antico Pastificio was an excellent place to stay. The Thursday night pizza party was a highlight of our stay in Italy. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short; Sandy, Monica, and Marco were extremely helpful as we revised our plans. Top ratings all around.
