Hotel is elegant - and full of fascinating maritime treasure - maps, beautiful ships lights, curios (e.g. scrimshaw and meerschaum pipes). 3 sunny terraces. The breakfast was the best I have ever even, at least eight different kinds of cake, fresh fruit, cereals, breads, etc. the room was elegant and relatively spacious.   The staff were very good, especially the lady on reception who spoke excellent English and was very helpful. The decor was very pleasant with interesting paintings everywhere. We had a lovely room at the front of the hotel with views straight over the sea. - Efficient check-in, pleasant staff.
