  We stayed at the Casa Campiglione for four nights in May to visit Assisi and other hill towns in the area. Our room and bathroom were spacious, immaculate and comfortable. We had booked a superior room and it had a small balcony with a vew of Assisi. The family and staff were very helpful and friendly. For people with a car, it is a fine location and getting to Assisi was easy with a short drive on the same - Very nice family run hotel. Lots of rooms. Ours had a balcony and was very quiet. Breakfast was typical European fair. The location is the best for visiting Assisi which is literally just down the road. We found it very homey and relaxing. It is good value for the money and we would stay there again.

  it was great staying in an old fortress the rooms and dining room was so interesting I would have loved some information on the history of it in English - soul of a hotel placed in an beautiful old building..with wery kind staff...warm etno furniture.. we felt good..
