  We were delighted with this hotel. Very spacious rooms - very tastefully decorated with beautiful furniture. Very welcoming owner and staff. Easy (free) parking in spacious grounds. Barga's historic centre and some excellent restaurants an easy 5-10 minute walk away. Large pool not yet in use in early May but would be great in summer.   Every thing except the food. The staff was top notch and the Hotel was encredable in a beautiful setting over looking Barga - The hotel is gorgeous and is in a perfect location in the mountains of Tuscany. The nearby city of Barga is fascinating to explore, as are all the small villages dotted around the hills. And there's plenty to see and do at... what people say » Il Ciocco itself.
