  I didn't expect to much after I read the hotel reviews, but it was actually beyond my expectations. The studio was very big and had everything we needed. The room was clean and the hotel manager was very friendly and helpful. Also the location is very good, as it is not in the city but actually close to the beach. Go north by foot about 20 minutes... what people say » on the sea side until you reach a pine forest. Pass trough it and you will reach a wonderful beach, a lot better than Bombardia, Lazaretto or the cit - For two persons, studio was quite spacious. Supermarket is right accross the street from the hotel. Staff is very welcoming and helpful with information. Two beautiful beaches (Lazzaretto + Bombardo), Cappo Caccia cave & airport easily reachable by bus/car. Bus station is very near the hotel. Beautiful old town is a nice 20-minute beach stroll away. Free parking spots were in abundance around the hotel, though keep in mind this was October. Alghero is a great starting point to explore North

  very welcoming, friendly and helpful staff - The staff was very nice and very helpful. The room was simple but much bigger than other hotels I had stayed before. I have nothing to complain about.

  The room was comfortable. The breakfast was good. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The staff were extremely helpful. The hotel is located across the street from the beach and is a nice, 15 to 20 minute walk to the old town area. - Excellent location next to the beach.   It was spotlessly clean and all the necessities were there. The beds were good. The lady at the reception was extremely friendly and helpful. We were the only people by the hot tub in the grounds most of the time so felt like a private garden (but with to-the-sun-lounger bar service) lovely staff, very close to the great restaurants in the old town - 5 mins walk along the pretty sea front. There is parking as well that isn't made obvious when booking. - Villa Mosca is a beautiful hotel with very comfortable and clean rooms. We stayed in the Comfort room in the attic as this was the only room available and it was perfect for us. The decor is simplistic and luxurious and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The best point is it is in a great location right by the sea and walking distance to the town and restaurants and bars.

  Very clean and nicely decorated with plenty towels/ spare linen. Spacious for a 2 bed apartment with a huge balcony. Well stocked kitchen, with good crockery, pans etc. The receptionist was lovely and very helpful. Our out of hours arrival was very smooth and organised. Clean, spacious apartment with huge terrace and good location. Plus, very helpful owner. We will definitely come back.

  Really enjoyed fantastic location overlooking the sea but in the centro storico.. Quirky apartment, clean and well run.. Antonio looked after us very well and made us feel very at home.. Fantastic shared terrassa . great place to stay..   Its a good situated hotel. We spend a week in the apartment and we loved it. Personal was realy kind and the apartment was clean and the beds oke. 1 minut away there is a big supermarket. The pool is lovely. In frond of the hotel is the see and lovely restaurants on the beach. Superplace to stay. We rent bikes for all the week so we never have to ... what people say » walk to the small city. But even you can do the walk. Nice place to stay! - Lovely apartment with 2 balconies - one facing the street with partial sea view off the lounge and the balcony off the bedroom faced the pool and had a sea view. The beds were comfortable and we had extra blankets for the nippy nights (we went in early May). Location is a nice 20 minute walk from the old town and there is a beautiful prominade all the way. Loved Alghero and LOVED Residence Picalé.

  A big apartment, very nice and clean in a modern building, the owners were flexible and available at all the times with plenty of advise; we had a problem with the fridge and the same day they gave us a brand new fridge, incredible and fast service, you could not ask for better!   My girlfriend and I spent several days staying here in September 2013. As many others have said, Alessandro and Monica are wonderfully hospitable and helpful. To put this into context, down the years I have travelled to well over 100 countries, staying in all manner of accommodation from 5* hotels to backpacker hostels. I have been to Italy alone ... what people say » around 15 times. And in all that time worldwide, I cannot think of better, kinder hosts. We were supposed to be self-catering but Monica brought us de - Il Sogno is in a stunning location, very peaceful, with lovely accommodation and a beautiful pool area. Alessandro is a mine of information and will advise on the best beaches and places to eat - and his wife will bake you the most beautiful cake and bread! Wonderful hosts and wonderful location, what more could you ask for!! I would recommend to anybody looking for a beautiful retreat in the countryside with a quick car journey into Alghero town.
