  My girlfriend and I spent several days staying here in September 2013. As many others have said, Alessandro and Monica are wonderfully hospitable and helpful. To put this into context, down the years I have travelled to well over 100 countries, staying in all manner of accommodation from 5* hotels to backpacker hostels. I have been to Italy alone ... what people say » around 15 times. And in all that time worldwide, I cannot think of better, kinder hosts. We were supposed to be self-catering but Monica brought us de - Il Sogno is in a stunning location, very peaceful, with lovely accommodation and a beautiful pool area. Alessandro is a mine of information and will advise on the best beaches and places to eat - and his wife will bake you the most beautiful cake and bread! Wonderful hosts and wonderful location, what more could you ask for!! I would recommend to anybody looking for a beautiful retreat in the countryside with a quick car journey into Alghero town.

  We arrived early and the staff held our bags so we could go wander around until check in. Great breakfast buffet variety. The staff was more than happy to help us and provide information. The best of all was our last day. We did not fly out until 9pm. After our check out in the a.m. they held our bags so we could go to the beach all day then al... what people say » lowed us to shower upon our return in the p.m. - Service was outstanding: the receptionist was very helpful and friendly.When I checked out, as my flight was leaving very late I was offered a cortesy room for later on to take a shower. In the room there was even an scale. It was very well located: in front of the beach. Very happy I stayed here.
