This small hotel in teh suburbs of Ciampino was close to the airport, however on the other side of the runways, giving a 5 minute taxi ride to the terminal building. The reception staff all spoke good english, and were very helpful - Helpful and friendly staff

The rooms were all separate units accessed from the outside balcony and were quiet and had air conditioning which was great. At first glance the hotel looked tired and run down. But upon seeing the room it was a very good value.
Also, the proximity of the rail (or bus) line was good. And the route took about 20 minutes (on the tram) to get to Rome center. -
